GreatStart Business Journey™️

What is included in the program?

The GreatStart Business Journey™️ program consists of six core courses which take the student from business novice to planning and launching an online business using newly developed business skills. Core courses include:

Course 1: Public Speaking
Course 2: Introduction to Business
Course 3: Personal Finance
Course 4: Business Writing
Course 5: Business Opportunities & Skills
Course 6: Launch a Business

Elective courses will be available for the 2026-27 school year including Student Success Secrets,  Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Bible & Business.

Students get questions answered by email and at weekly coaching sessions during the school year. Coaching calls are recorded for later replay and review. There are discussion forums for each course for students to ask questions and help each other.

Independent study does not mean students are left alone. The GreatStart Academy experience includes weekly coaching calls to help students gain clarity, get unstuck and keep moving forward throughout the courses.

Note: Depending on your student’s age and situation you may or may not want your student to launch an online business before high school graduation. That's fairly normal depending on when a student takes the course in high school. This is doubly true when the student begins in middle school. Remember that planning a business is a dress rehearsal for a future business launch.

Elective courses will be available for the 2026-27 school year including Student Success Secrets,  Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Bible & Business.

Written assignments are critiqued and corrected to improve writing skills. There is also a discussion forum for students to ask questions and help each other.
